Evata to open a permanent office in Beijing to serve its growing international Client base in Asia.
Architectural and consulting group Evata expands its Far East activities by opening a new office in Beijing. The primary target customers of the new office are Nordic and European companies operating in China. Evata aims to follow some of its international customers as they expand in China but also help other companies setting up operations such as industrial facilities, retail networks, workplaces interiors and related services from site acquisition to project management, concept design and architectural services.
According to Mr. Tommi Tuominen, President of Evata Worldwide, the need to have a permanent operation in China has been increasing as more European companies establish themselves in China. "Launching construction projects in new environment is always a risk. Operating on-site enables us to react rapidly thus offering effective and reliable project management and minimizing these risks to clients, who can also deal in their language using known procedures with a Nordic company in China."
The new office opens in October. It will be managed by Mr. Teemu Vuori, Architect and Manager for the China operations. Mr Vuori, who has gained international experience in several Asian and African projects, considers that Evata will be a valuable partner for Nordic and European companies in China. "With our local contacts and experience in large-scale international projects we are able to provide complete solutions from strong business concept to efficient delivery. Our integrated approach combined with our local contacts and experience allows us to help customer throughout the project, thereby allowing the customer to concentrate their own core business", says Mr. Vuori.
The China and Asian operations of Evata will be part of Evata’s international activities in Europe and Russia. Evata has been working in Asia since the mid 90’s, first within its international strategic alliance, e2A, which covers the US, Middle East and Asia, especially China, India, Singapore and the Philippines, but also directly to international clients such as Nokia and regional developers in sport facilities, industrial, retail or urban development.
