Evata Finland to design three spa hotels of Holiday Club Resorts
Holiday Club Resorts and Evata Finland have signed frame agreement of the architectural and interior design of three ongoing spa hotel developments: Saimaa in Joutseno, Finland as well as Västervik and Öresund in Sweden. When completed, these high-end timeshare and spa resorts will offer various round-the-year leisure activities.
“Holiday Club aims to be the leading timeshare company in Europe by the year 2010. This growth will be accomplished by developing new projects and producing interesting and impressive services together with leading professionals of the industry”, says Mr. Vesa Tengman, CEO of Holiday Club Resorts Oy.
During past seven years, Evata has participated in several successful hotel spa projects of Holiday Club. For instance Holiday Club Åre has been noted as one of the top hotels of Sweden. “In cooperation with other Pöyry Group companies, Evata is now able to offer integrated design services covering the whole life-cycle of investment projects”, says Mr. Tommi Tuominen, President of Evata Worldwide.
According to Mr. Jukka Kettunen, Director of Evata Hospitality Unit, the newly signed frame agreement strengthens the position of Evata as the leading designer of leisure & recreational facilities in Finland. Says Kettunen: “I strongly believe that our team has the capacity to help Holiday Club to create successful, state-of-the-art destinations also in the future”.

Holiday Club Resorts Oy is Finland’s leading service providers of leisure travel and one of Europe’s largest vacation ownership companies.
